Oklahoma 45, Alabama 31.  Now that's gonna make for some happy folks in Norman!

Say, will ya look at that. Clemson 40, Ohio State 35. You know, in 1978 when OSU played Clemson at the Gator Bowl, Woody Hays punched a Clemson player who was down and out of bounds on the sideline (and Woody lost that game 15-17 plus getting fired, too!). Looks like the bad karma that Woody started still works for Clemson!

Oops! You wouldn't know any of that then. Also, you probably don't really follow college football that closely. 1978 was a good year for wine, though. Me and my miscreant pals were watching that game whilst sampling some excellent Mad Dog 20/20 grape (aged at least 90 days, they tell me!) Believe me, there's not a whole lot do do in Iowa (which is where I was parked at the time) in winter amongst bare, snow covered farm fields!

Prarie Du Chien is actually a nice little town. I have friends there. But you're right, it's cold. So I've relocated to Mexico!
