I've never quite figured out why 13 was chosen to be unlucky. I know there are a variety of explanations, but none of them really make sense to me. Anyhow, I always have my lucky rabbit's foot...

I have a horseshoe...but, I get funny looks from people when I wear it around my neck. I thought they'd just think I was a rapper and overlook it.

Now, if you'd painted the horseshoe gold and hung it from a heavy gold chain around your neck, then they'd have believed you were a rapper! If you do that in Detroit, they'll assume you're the Mayor!
