A Very Happy Forth of July to All!

Although, of course, the Declaration of Independence was actually signed on July 2, 1776.

The wording was quickly approved on a hot 4th of July, 1776, when the sergeant-at-arms in Philadelphia opened the windows and horse flies from a nearby stable started biting the delegates. Otherwise, they would have debated for hours.

Really, it is true.

No kidding.
Look it up!

I always thought red, white, and blue represented freedom until I saw red, white, and blue flashing in my rearview mirror.

I guess that's so we can feel patriotic about paying our speeding tickets?

The only reason they might pull you over is because you stole my star with your lame answer to the Caption Contest. I would demand a recount, but for some reason Admin deleted the thread. Must be drinking on the job.

Drinking on the job? Now that's employment I would be interested in!

When you retire, Riptt, you'll find that drinking anytime is a perk of no job!
