Place: (tied) Chitu and Intense Holiday

I played those as a boxed Trifecta

I also played a couple of long shots a Exactas.

You certainly got California Chrome right! Wonder what the Preakness will bring?

California Chrome was almost scratched from the race...poor thing had a cold.

He sure recovered fast!

Well, another year without a Triple Crown winner. It's one of the toughest achievements in the sports world, though.

I completely agree with what the one owner of Chrome said...it really isn't fair for a horse to enter the last leg of the Triple Crown that didn't race in the others...because they are much more rested up.  I know they can't force the other owners to race in the other two legs, if they lost the Kentucky Derby...but I think they should give enough rest space between each race. We have to remember, the horse doesn't just run on Stakes day, they are training all the time in between the Stakes.

The rest period would seem more fair!
