The Path To MY3cents

April 2008: I googled (I forget the exact phrasing) something to do with AOL Chatrooms. One of the hits that came up was a complaint review on this site called my3cents. The screenname was annfrank I believe. I was just curious to how others found that site.

After almost three years of various screen names, I finally settled on ashleyfurniturerules. Needless to say, (like other newbies), I assumed to be stew/lidman/pirate,drjeech/ etc until proven otherwise. Maybe there is some truth to it. I think there is a Stew within all of our souls.

I was working for NCO and decided to Google it...and it took me to...believe it or not....a COMPLAINT about them! LOL....and I"ve been there ever since.
I have also been accused of being someone named Candice and a few others. I still don't see a Candice, DebtorBasher (with a capital 'D' and a capital 'B) connection. In fact, Stew was one of those people...I think he was the only one who thought I was also, Candice.

Hmmm I don't remember a Candace. I do remember "ladylyrics".

Yeah, LadyLyrics was always trying to get me in trouble.

I don't remember exactly how I found M3c. I think it was after they put the rods in my back and I was pretty well buzzed on pain killers and in a 'turtle shell' cast in 2007 or so. I do remember that I knew none of the rules and ticked a bunch of people off. I didn't know I'd made people annoyed until they stopped giving me the pain stuff a month or so after I'd signed on.

I thought being annoying was a requirement.

Yeah, part of the fun of those conversations was the swipes people took at each other!

Some were well deserved.

I liked being an observer. Much safer that way!

I remember the discussions about Walmart vs Target. That was pure entertainment. I remember myself starting a topic in the community section about it. Wally made the first comment, which was ringing the bell for round one.

Those discussions were a lot of fun! It's too bad they shut that community forum down.

I still can't believe the site admin let that thread go on the way it did.

The conflicts were interesting sometimes. I like to look at opinions that are different from mine. You never know when someone might have an idea that's useful if you don't look at what they're saying. For myself, I try and be civil. Not enough civility in the world these days. And, after all, when it comes to stuff on the computer, why get upset over something someone says (even if it's personal) when, in all likelyhood, you'll never meet the individual in person and they are probably miles and miles from where you physically are? Of course, sometimes it is kinda fun just to get ticked off now and again. Beats heck out of getting in a fierce arguement with a neighbor. Especially if the neighbor is a lot larger than you are and an ex-army ranger...

I didn't know Lidman was chinese. I thought he was superbowl's lackey.

Yes, Lidman became a Chinese woman living in California and worked as a 911 operator and had teen aged sons that liked playing imaginary pinball machines. The night I busted him/her had to be the in the top 3 most entertaining nights on M3C. I think he/she was CindyLu or something like that.

So Lidman was a Chinese gal named Cindy Lu.
Which means that Cindy Lu Who is actually Asian.
Nice to see that the annual show "How the Grinch Stole Christams" has become diversified.
I suppose Max the Daschund is now Lhasa Apso?

Cindy Lu was from San Jose.

I just never pictured Cindy Lu Who being from the Bay Area. Why'd she move to Whoville?

Anytime a newbie would post anything on m3c suggesting they are familiar with the site, was considered one of Stew's personalities. LOL This is thread goes back to April 2008.

This poster seems to have a chip over something said to him by
another user here. Was some of his posts removed? I can't find him
trailing anyone else or any semblance of stew. Actually in all
fairness, stew was never kicked off here and has the right to create
a new account anyway.

He is not new. He makes references to past events. Seems to have a
real problem with Ken and Suusan.

His lack of knowledge of capitalization usage seems to indicate
another currently active member.

He had like 15 comments posted now it's down to 9 so Admin has
removed the worst of them.

Slim, the six or so that were removed had Stew written all over them.
My guess is his new game of bad spelling etc is just part of the new
game like his recent Jesus game he played on everyone.

If Admin allows this to go on I suspect this new NIC will be ending
up on a lot of block lists. Not bad for a NIC's first day, about 40%
of his posts were already deleted.

Strange indeed. Suusan B. is one of the nicer members, always giving
sound advice. No clue what this new NIC's problems are. Maybe the
med's are out of whack?

As with all his previous trouble making NIC's this one has made my
block list as well. Some first day he has had, been blocked by

If you're wondering why I would say that, is because I never bashed
anyone in emails...and I have all the original emails I've ever sent
out, there's nothing you have to prove something that's never

Like I have stated before Debtor....I do not e-mail people on this
site for friendly chat, um DUH therefore I most certainly do not
phone them either! This IS between Siffer and me....and Unlike some
he probably has a life outside of this box, as well! Your responses
remind me of things we said as children, "Are we there Yet?" Grow UP!
