I copied and pasted this nasty review I got from these three ladies. The only thing I shouldn't have done was pick up the "bosses son" on the way. Anyways I'm just glad that not everyone feels this way. BTW... There's no way you can look someone in a van from the outside, unless it's a police car or something.

Be Careful and Trust Your Gut Ladies

We (three ladies) called A Happy Cab for a ride from our hotel to dinner. Upon pickup, driver asked us to sit in the back of the van because he had to pick someone else up. He assured us it was on the way. Weird, but we went ahead.

The driver was texting while driving the entire time, with shaky hands and seemed very wired.

Then he said he had to swing by the office and pulled off of Hwy 101, into a residential neighborhood, most definitely out of our way.

He pulled up in front of a house, said he needed to go check on things, got out and LOCKED THE DOORS FROM THE OUTSIDE, TOOK THE KEYS, and went into house.

By this time, we were very scared. Fortunately, we were able to unlock the door by climbing over to the driver seat.

As we were getting out, two men approached the van, one from behind the house and one out the front of the house. They looked very strung out.

We got out and started walking, ignoring their calls of "hey girls" and walked all the way back to the hotel - thankfully unharmed, but we feel that this could have gone any number of terrifying ways.

Very sketchy, and terrifying. We talked to the Lincoln City PD about our experience and they said they don't recommend A Happy Cab. We will definitely use Taxi 101 next time.

Be careful ladies. Trust your gut.

I wouldn't sweat it.

Live and learn. I'm not that fond of social media sites like Yelp, Twitter, etc. Sounds like the tourists don't understand that a Taxi service is not a Limo service. Working in the restaurant industry, we get those all the time. Not that all critics all untruthful, but some like over-dramatize scenarios.

Sounds like a bunch of drama-queens.

That's my 3 cents.

Not a fan of Twit, Faceschnook, Instaslam, etc.
then again, maybe I'm just an old fool. I rarely use a telephone for anything but making calls.

I remember the following evening when I worked, I mentioned it to a few passengers and some said they're not fans of those social media sites, and some said they it's difficult to write good reviews because of Yelps filters. It seems they (yelp) encourage more negative reviews for some reason.

In any case, it's the first time (since the Texasmom fiasco on a pokersite back in May 2006) have I read such negativitiy about myself.

They probably work for Taxi 101 or whatever...trying to cut the competition. If the 'walked' and didn't 'run' I'd say they didn't feel too threatened and could have taken a pic of the guys and license plate.

Actually I believe they're from Portland as it's shown on her Yelp account. I believe the being terrified was very exaggerated. It would be interesting to see how that review would fare on my3cents.

All in all, I guess you can't please everybody.

Also they could have easily have unlocked their doors in the back seats. I didn't lock the doors from the outside.

Does the Basher secretly drive for uber?

With my lack of direction sense? I get lost just about every time I get in my car! But, extra miles on a cab means more money. Maybe I should look into that.

Basher could be the reserve human driver on the Uber self-driving cars!

Recently, I had one of those three ladies as a passenger about a week ago. What a nightmare scenario (for me that is) the whole ride, her and her boyfriend kept calling me names thru out the whole ride. When i finally got to their destination the guy crumpled the bills and threw them at me. And then I said "have a good night to them" over and over until they got tired of telling me to ....uck off. I thought of an uber video where the driver had trouble getting this lady to exit his vehicle. Here's a video of it I found on youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-2JyYfNSbqA

I have that record...45 vinyl. Did you ever hear the flip side of that? It's the entire song backwards. Even the label on the flip side is printed backwards.

They did come to take me away, but I ran out the back door and they haven't caught me yet...
