Don't quit before the miracle

Last Friday evening I started my 7pm-7am shift with only two fares in the first four hours. Ugh... Then I remembered that ole saying "Don't quit before the miracle. Needless to say the evening improved somewhat, and getting an $80 tip was the probably the miracle I got. Then to top it off, at the end my shift, I found six $20 bills in the backseat door panel. You just never know.....

Did anyone find $110.00...I think it fell out of my pocket when I was in a cab.

Wish I had that South Carolina lottery ticket. A one time payout of about 877,000,000 bucks. That'd buy a new lifestyle or a small Banana Republic!

This subject title "Don't quit before the miracle", is very inspiring. Saturday night, I worked 6pm to 3am. From 6 to 10, I had one fare. From 10 to 3am I had 21 fares. I almost called it a night around 10pm, because it was so slow. I'm glad I held out longer. Like I said before, that inspirational phrase makes a difference.

That's because from 6-10 people are still walking upright...from 10-3, they can't walk at all.

I go to bed at 9:30 so I don't know what people do after 10 PM.
