I'm 46 now and hopefully retiring when I hit 50. I got commissioned into the Air Force when I was 20 years old and will have 30 years of service if they let me retire. I'm currently at the rank of full bird Colonel but that may change to 1 Star Brigadier General if they sweet talk me too much.
