Oops! My neighbors. The critics (at least the ones I read-which amounts to about two of them) seemed to think it was too intense.

Now I'm curious. It's playing down at our local theater. Maybe I can find time this weekend to see it!

Is this a new movie or an old movie. I thought it was new, since Mr. Mike said he got the bootleg.

It's new. Jamie Foxx (Django) plays an ex-slave turned quick-draw bounty hunter trying to get his wife back from nasty (but sophisticated) slave owner Leonardo DiCaprio. Apparently Django kicks some tail and blasts some evil types with his six-shooter. It sort of sounds like "Gone With the Wind" meets up with an African American John Wayne. Violence and gore galore. Could be fun!

MRM is kind of like the Robin Hood of movies. Swipes from the Gollywood rich and tips off the poor on how to do it, too!

I rather enjoyed The Hobbit.

We were thinking of seeing it today, but the roads are kind of messy so we'll probably catch an old movie on TV instead!

NO! Don't pull the shades. Us stalker types go to great trouble to get a peek at bedtime! Do you know how tough it can be to climb a ladder when you've had a few beers? C'mon, cut me a break!

By the way, Justice, don't use acid. That Alison Tendler gal that does the Restatsis eye drop ad gives free 'dates' to men who use her product! The only trouble is she's in Sioux City SD and it's pretty damn chilly up there these days.

Blood And Sand...it was just on yesterday. It was always one of my Mom's favorite movies.

I think I saw that a long time ago. I'd like to see it again if one of the movie channels presents it. Tyrone power makes for an excellent romantic bull fighter!

Not to be confused with Spartacus: Blood and Sand.
The one I'm talking about is the one made in 1941 with Tyrone Power and Rita Hayworth. People used to always tell my Mom that she looked like Rita Hayworth.

That's the one, DB. Rita, Tyrone, John Carradine, Anthony Quinn, etc. Wish they put more like that on the movie channels. Hydekelso, let us know if Standup Guys is good. I owe my wife a movie outing!

'Anaconda'. It's not that I really like the flick, but the Syfy channel has been showing it almost every other day, so maybe I'm missing something?

I had thought about seeing "Anaconda" when it came out, but felt the "enlarged constrictor" looked too fake.

It was pretty hokey, but the snake was a better actor than the humans in the flick!
