Lunch today...Hebrew National Beef Hotdogs with homemade fries.

I love the Hebrew National meats! They're worth paying more for!

What made those Hebrew National Dogs taste even better...was that they were half priced! One of my favorite grocery stores 'Good Cents' is closing down and they had everything in the store at 50% off last week. I went and bought about $120.00 worth of groceries for only about $60.00. Then I went back the next day and got $130.00 worth for half price. I'm good for awhile. Of course, I had to rearrange my entire apartment to fit everything in it. In fact, I still have four 8 packs of paper towels in the car and two large boxes of Hefty trash bags in the car. LOL! This week, everything is 75% off, but I know there isn't going to be much left for the pickins by now. It was said, that after they opened, just two years ago, Giant Eagle bought them out because they couldn't compete with their prices...NOW, Giant Eagle is closing them down. I hate Giant Eagle, that's why I never shop there.

It's sad for the employees and people that shopped there, but it's a gold mine when you come across a close out and can stock up like you did! More of the lower priced grocery stores seem to be falling prey to the big chains these days.

Yeah...and everything was name brand too...not generic. I stocked up on my Miracle Whip and Hellmann's! Jobs were offered to the employees to work in Giant Eagle stores. But, when I talked with the one cashier, she said all the jobs they offered them were way out and too far for them to work. I think that's a scam, because there are Giant Eagles everywhere. I can point out four of them in a rock throw from where I live. I think they did that on purpose.

Well, no, but beer does go very nicely with Churros!

Today for lunch I had some grub's bbq chicken, potato salad and a diet coke. Grubs is so good I'll suffer that poor people smellin crime infested ghetto known as Del City.

FYI Basher... Grubs BBQ much like Basher-Q is cooked in an oven. Go figure.

Nothing compares to my Basher BBQ!!! Man-O-Man, I sure miss JKT!!!

BBQ chicken sounds really good today. Unfortunately, I'm not having meat today since my wife does the no meat on Fridays thing for Lent (except for that fish fry stuff that all the churches have which we don't particularly care for). So I guess food today will be something along the lines of noodles with a bunch of hot sauce on top.

Heading out to panang with the family for Thai food. I'm looking at ordering some chicken sate, tum yum gai and some stir fried something or another. Of course I'll be sniping some pad Thai and beef salad from Sue's plate. I dare not sample from my brothers plate unlessen I don't value my hands.

Dang, I'm hungry. Viva la spring!
