Retired from the Taxi business for a few months.

I decided to take an "winter vacation" from the Cab business. November 16th was my last day. I resigned a couple of days later after numerous run ins with the owner. I just couldn't take working those `12 hour shifts to wee hours of the morning. If I was not financially secure I would have toughed it out longer. Now I can spend more time with family.

Sounds like a good decision. Now you can be a Dasher and grocery shop all day....waiting in check out lines..and hopefully get a ten cent tip from customers that are never happy.

I could be called the DebtorDasher.

Enjoy your retirement! I don't usually encounter a lot of people when I shop at the grocery store, but I am usually there at 7 AM and only on weekdays.

It's nice not having to drive in that winter weather.

Alain....I didn't know you scrubbed your grass. Thank you for keeping Basherville so clean. And I AM talking about the green lawn...not that other grass that is banned from Basherville!

Clean grass is happy grass. As for the other grass, it's actually a weed and not good to grow in front lawns!

I doubt the land lord will mowing the lawn tomorrow if there's more snow. It'll be nice for a change not to wake up to the leafblower as well.

Yeah, a snowblower goes once or twice down the sidewalk and they are done. A lawn mower is back and forth, back and forth, back and forth...then the edger, then the leaf blower blowing the grass from the sidewalks. Summer is noise pollution.

That's why I release a herd of goats every summer to trim my lawn!
