Private Messages Update

Does anyone here use the Private Message Feature?  I'm going to be disabling it because I'm always getting spam messages. You know the kind...'I saw your profile picture and would like to get to know you and want to have hot sex with you'.  Clearly a Basherville violation. Most of those have IP address' from China. I don't know how to or if I can just block those ones, so I have blocked all Private Messages.  I don't know if it  only blocks my own PM or everyone's. If someone can check that, let me know. My only other option would be to block guests and I really don't want to have to do that.

Thanks. I believe I've only received maybe 2 or 3 PMs from actual members....ever. So, I don't use it very often. If other members use it more, let me know. Otherwise, we will just keep the feature blocked.

Never learned to use it. I just read the regular posts to see what's new with people.

Now that it's been disabled, It shows I have one unread message. Now, that bothers me because I can't delete it, can't read it and don't know who it is from. Most likely the Japanese Spammers. I'd rather it didn't show there are any messages at all.

Japanese spammers? I thought most of them were Russian. They have the best porn sites.....I, um, mean...so I've been told....

I have just received a note from Santa. He is not pleased. I expect some Anthracite in my stocking this year!

I actually did get a small bag of coal in my stocking, but it was Bituminous coal so it takes a bit longer to form into diamonds. I just have to wait for a few million years and see what happens!

I actually did get a small bag of Bituminous (not Anthracite) coal in my stocking! Judging from the grin on my wife's face, she and Santa have a heck of a sense of humour!

All you need is to dip it in peanut butter then put it in ice. You must not keep up with all the latest on Social Media..and you know it has to be true if it's on Social Media!

By golly, if it's on social media or the Internet, it has to be true! (Just like the stuff printed in The National Enquirer.)
