Pulp-fiction was another one I thought was a classic. I can't believe it lost to "Forrest Gump" in the oscars. Not that there was anything wrong with FG.

Secondhand Lion...I love that movie!

Can't say that I've ever seen the movie. Is that with the kid from Home Improvement?

No, it isn't the kid from Home Improvement...Haley Joel Osment from The Sixth Sense stars in it.

It's a really good movie and I think it is one that you would enjoy. The kid is sent to the country to spend the summer with his two uncles...no computers, no TV, just pure country living with two crazy, lovable uncles who likes to tell stories of their younger days...I highly recommend it. I don't usually watch movies over once I've seen them, but I've watched this one maybe 4 times already. Robert Duvall, Michael Caine and Kyra Sedgwick also stars in it. It's one of those 'heart warming' movies.

I like a lot of the movies mentioned here. I have no favourites, but I did find Animal House educational when it first came out. God, I hate being a newbie again.

John Lee Hooker, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Donald "duck" Dunn, heck...pretty much the entire cast from extras to band members. Absolutely awesome ensemble of musicians! Love that movie!

One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest! Loved that one! The original MASH wasn't bad. My Fair Lady from years ago was fun, too. The more I think about it, I couldn't choose a favourite movie!

Say, DB, I've got some brew and ale up in the tree house. Come on up for a movie! In fact, everyone's invited! (by the way, I tapped into the neighbor's electric outlet to run the A/C & keg cooler!)

I haven't seen North By Northwest in a long time. I'd forgotten that Martin Landua was in that! Another classic Carey Grant: Gunga Din. (I'm also a fan of Kipling)
