I was watching Duck Dynasty last night. I watched for first two or three when the show first came on...then I stopped watching it...now, I started watching it again....I wish The Donald would get his show back on soon...and Top Shot and even Heck's Kitchen.

Now that the Olympics are over a lot of those shows will be coming back, some even with new episodes. I read someplace, though, that the TV execs are cutting back on how long a series runs in order to save money. 100 channels on cable and still not a heck of a lot to watch.

Cut down on how long a series runs????? Heck, they only run maybe three or four episodes then repeats them a hundred times a week!

Me too. My sister laughed when she noticed I still have a VCR hooked up...but, why not? I have all those VHS tapes, plus home videos that I still have on tape. Why should I convert them to CD's when they will only come out with some other format again?

You're right. The formats change frequently so that people will have to buy the latest, usually expensive, system. As long as the older systems work we aren't going to switch.

Yes, Alain ... you DO have to see Second Hand Lion! If you scroll back on this topic you will see I mentioned it before. It's one of those movies your wife will enjoy as well....it's even proper for kids to watch and how often does a movie like that come along?
