They have Christmas ads already? Jeeze, that means those damned catalogs are going to start coming and I just know my wife is gonna want something expensive...

A young couple moves into a new neighborhood. The next morning while they are eating breakfast, the young woman sees her neighbor hanging the wash outside. "That laundry is not very clean; she doesn't know how to wash correctly. Perhaps she needs better laundry soap." Her husband looks on, remaining silent. Every time her neighbor hangs her wash to dry, the young woman makes the same comments. A month later, the woman is surprised to see a nice clean wash on the line and says to her husband: "Look, she's finally learned how to wash correctly. I wonder who taught her this? " The husband replies, "I got up early this morning and cleaned our windows." And so it is with life... What we see when watching others depends on the clarity of the window through which we look.

They pulled ALL cigarette ads off the TV...in what...the 1970's or 80's? Why? So, kids won't be tempted to smoke. I wonder how that worked out.

Well, statistics say that smoking tabacco is down. As for anything else, I don't know...

CVS stores are going to stop selling cigs and tobacco items...funny, you can go to the store in CO and buy whacky tobaky, but you can't buy cigarettes at the drug store...something's sure whacky about that.

Of course that doesn't affect Bashervillians, since smoking is banned in Basherville anyway.

It was! A cockroach dance can be done flat on your back. Stripper poles require way too much physical effort! Also, they are made for people that weigh a lot less than I do!
