We're taking off at 7:40 AM which should put us over your area around 8:20. Is there a nearby field where we can land? First stop will be Denver and then on to Vail.

Monday, 11:25 am...my granny panties are now shredded from waving them in the air...I keep chasing spiders away from me because they are trying to build webs around my feet, I'm hungry, I REALLLLLLLLLLY have to pee. But, I know Alain will be along any minute now to pick me up for our trip to Colorado!!!

Blackhawks ahead by 3 to 2. This could be the night! Sorry about the foul-up, DB! Believe me, it was a confusing trip that you were better off missing. Nothing like forest fires and thunderstorms to REALLY screw up flying!

I like them, too, but not when they cause ramps to shut down, jets to be diverted and gates to be changed! A trip that was supposed to take 6 hours (including layover) ended up taking 16 hours. United did an okay job of finally getting us out of there, though. And there was additional entertainment when a rather large, foul-mouthed standby passenger got a six police escort to places unknown (although I'm suspecting it was the local pokey since threatening gate personnel and other passengers is ever so slightly illegal).
