Hockey is Back

I agree...I just switch back and forth to check the score with hopes that Lebron is losing....The squeekity squeek of their shoes are bad enough, but then you have that guy with the long handled mop that has to mop the sweat up off the floor every time one of them falls...or in Lebron's case, PRETENDS to fall.

I definately prefer the good old fashioned violence of ice hockey!

Why doesn't hockey have cheerleaders? Oh, I guess doing the splits on ice with a skimpy cheerleading uniform would be a big uncomfortable.

They have figure skaters, but they're frigid!

So the Rangers fall and Tampa Bay will be against....who...for the Stanley Cup 2015...

The TB Lighning and Blackhawks for the Cup. My wife likes TB and I've got to go for Chicago!

Looks like I'll be rooting for the Blackhawks to win the Stanley Cup. Poor Rangers. I know Alain must be heartbroken.

Well, not exactly heartbroken! My wife's taking Tampa Bay so I'm going with the Hawks. I didn't see them get their win last night. Tampa Bay was killing them, so I went to bed after the 2nd period. I guess the Blackhawks woke up in the last few minutes to take game one 2-1. I laughed at my wife about it when she got home from work a few minutes ago. She threw a pickle at me.

I was kind of surprised. Those giant deli kosher dills hurt when they hit you in the head!

Hockey Shmockey!

Say, your nephew plays hockey, doesn't he?

My Nephew's little boy does. I think he's going to be 8 years old in December.  He eats, sleeps and lives hockey. His little sister was born on his birthday, she's 3 years old and says,' This little piggy went to the hockey game, this little piggy stayed home..." LOL!

It's a fun game for kids! I started playing when I was 4.

Looks like Tampa Bay won a squeaker 3-2. I still think Chicago is going to win the cup.

Now the Blackhawks come back with a 2-1 win. These teams are very evenly matched!

Another 2-1. The Blackhawks could take it Wednesday!

Oops. I meant they could take it Monday. And they did!

And now for my take on 2016:
Penguins versus Lightening
Tampa Bay wins in 5.

St. Louis versus San Jose
Blues win in 5.

Stanley Cup:
St Louis Blues versus Tampa Bay Lightening.

My reasons: I like St. Louis. The people at their airport are nice and friendly.
I like Tampa Bay because they have some nice beaches nearby.
Hockey? Um...yeah, they both have hockey teams.

I've seen bits and pieces of Hockey on our news...better than stupid Lebron all the time.

LeBron would not do very well on skates. Even I, at a slightly less young age, could make toast of LeBron on skates. Even without my old hockey stick (which, for some reason, I still have).

Lebron is too old to play, but I have a feeling, when he steps down his son will be in the spotlight next....another generation of 'me, me, me'.

Yeah, but there is a price to be paid for that. So many of those celebrity kids get really messed up as they grow up.

And their Grandmother isn't a very good influence on them.

LeBron's Mom seems to like Michael Jackson's parents way of doing things. Grandma and Grandpa Jackson have done a fine job of messing up Prince, Paris and Michael, jr. Celebrity Grandparents are just as fouled up as their kids.

Perfect prediction for me. Both my picks lost. Here goes again:
Stanley's Cup:
San Jose in 5 over Penguins.
Why? Because Sharks are nastier than Penguins. And San Jose is in the heart of Silicon Valley so they have computer guidance systems attached to their hockey sticks!
Anyway, the Penguins beat Washington and that made me mad.
