Hockey is Back

And now for the 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs. My favourites so far: Capitals, Blackhawks, Islanders and Rangers. Subject to change, as always.

The Rangers-Penguins game 3 was a nail-biter. Rangers winning 2-1 !!!

I remember LaFontaine. Cripes, that was almost 30 years ago. Oh well, times flies when you're watching hockey! That Rangers/Pens game was good! They've all been tight ones. So far, though, it's usually been the Pens who make that one mistake that loses the game!

It's starting to thin out. Looks like Winnipeg is first to go home.

It's kind of an obligation from when I was a youngster growing up in the DC area. We keep hoping the Capitals Stanley Cup curse will be broken, but every year they always manage to choke!

Both of you need not worry. If either the Cap or Rangers make it to the finals, the Blackhawks are still going to take it all. They should have won last year.

Sure don't have to worry about the Capitals. What a cursed team. All they had to do was take 1 game out of 3 to advance and they couldn't do it. They ought to move that team to Bum F, Egypt!

All I know for sure is I can't go for the Ducks. I just can't get behind a hockey team that calls itself "Ducks"!

Somehow Donald and Mickey never seemed to be really fearsome...and what's a Duck gonna do for skates?

That's certainly possible. I have to admit, though, for Ducks, they play pretty darn well!

Someone please put an end to basketball season already!

It would seem you have to wait a tad longer. If I read the paper right this morning (as we jurors sat on our hind ends waiting to see if the trial we were supposed to be sitting at would ever happen), the Cavs beat Atlanta and will go on to their next series. I didn't see who that was as they called lunch and someone had taken the paper from my seat when I returned.

They are still playing Atlanta tonight...it NEVER ENDS!

I haven't been watching it. The squeaking from the shoes in basketball bugs me too much to look at it for more than 3 minutes!
